Parent Committee

Welcome to the inaugural Girls Golf of America (GGA) Parent Committee. Girls Golf of America, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation, continues to grow with the expansion of the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour (PKBGT).  As Girls Golf of America continues to grow, we are looking towards the parents of the PKBGT to help us grow our network of collaborative partners and organizations, as well as assist in our fundraising initiatives.

Girls Golf of America aspires to become the informational hub for girls’ golf families by providing parents and their daughters information on how to navigate the junior golf journey.  Specifically, the platform will guide parents on the competitive golf journey with resources, information and guidance on how to assist girls in achieving their goals in junior golf.

The GGA Parent Committee will provide valuable feedback on the trajectory of the PKBGT and serve as an additive fundraising and sponsorship arm for GGA. Parents will be able to vocalize their support for girls in competitive golf while making an impact on the industry by helping the foundation achieve financial stability and growth in the future. GGA will look towards the parents to help create new scholarships and grants, as well as establish educational initiatives for the girls on tour and around the country.

  • Enhance and improve the future of girls’ competitive golf
    • Assist in enhancing the PKBGT by raising funds to create new experiences and opportunities across the country.
  • Establish Girls Golf of America as an educational hub for girls’ golf
    • Help create new initiatives with educational and developmental opportunities for all girls in golf to help build their skills beyond the game of golf.
  • Help generate sponsorships for the largest girls-only golf tour
    • Generate new sponsorship leads with GGA and the PKBGT by sharing connections or potential partners that we could work with.
  • Build and establish relationships within the golf community
    • Let your voice be heard by providing feedback to GGA and the PKBGT about the current state of the tour while creating relationships with parents of the PKBGT.

Applications for the GGA Parent Committee will open on March 1st, 2024, and close on March 15th, 2024. We aim to have leadership positions selected by March 22nd, 2024. The GGA Parent Committee meetings will act like a town hall where all parents are welcomed with selected leaders guiding the direction and initiatives of the committee.

The Girls Golf of America Parent Committee will provide valuable feedback on the trajectory of the PKBGT and serve as an additive fundraising arm for the foundation.  From the committee, leadership positions will be selected to guide the committee, including a chair who will sit on the Girls Golf of America Board of Directors.

Parents will have a forum to vocalize their support of girls in competitive golf by helping the foundation grow to become a leading hub in the golf industry.  Our goal is to collectively work together to elevate opportunities for the girls beyond just the golf tournament, including scholarships, educational initiatives, and developmental opportunities.

If you have any questions about the process, the application, or how to get more involved, please reach out to CJ, our Development Manager, by emailing info@girlsgolfofamerica.org.

Thank you for your interest in making an impact on girls’ golf!
