Founder’s Day

We’re celebrating 18 years of the PKBGT!

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour (PKBGT) is the largest girls-only junior golf tour in the United States, and it began in 2007. On March 24th, 2007, the PKBGT hosted their first-ever competitive tournament at Bermuda Run Country Club in North Carolina, featuring a field of 26 girls.

18 years later, the PKBGT hosts over 150 tournaments a year in 14 states with fields of over 60 girls on average. With the support of our community, we continue to pave the way for girls to play competitive golf in an inclusive environment where every girl can play and develop at their pace. Today we are celebrating our 2nd Founder’s Day to celebrate the achievements the PKBGT has accomplished and the growth that girls’ golf has seen, especially in the last decade.
