Beyond the Birdie

After raising over $3,750 last year, the PKBGT and Girls Golf of America are excited to announce the return of Beyond the Birdie. Beyond the Birdie is a player-driven initiative by PKBGT Player Council member Emerson Dever. Hear from Emerson below on where Beyond the Birdie came from and how the PKBGT will help support this idea.

How to Get Involved?

This summer, any PKBGT player who signs up for Beyond the Birdie can impact girls’ golf by scoring birdies (or eagles and aces) at PKBGT tournaments. Birdies will be tracked from April until Sunday, August 10th, when the results of the Beyond the Birdie fundraiser will be announced at the PKBGT Tour Championship.

Players who are interested in supporting Beyond the Birdie should read below and fill out a form that will help the PKBGT staff track their tournaments and birdies for them. Once they submit the form, players are asked to reach out to family, friends, and local supporters to pledge a donation for every birdie they make on the course. If players would like any graphics or information to help them reach out for pledge support, the PKBGT staff will be able to provide such resources. PKBGT Players, support the PKBGT through birdies, eagles, or aces you score on the course this spring and summer! Fill out the Player Interest Form to join the Beyond the Birdie Fundraiser

• Fill out the Interest Form to be a part of Beyond the Birdie.
• Send the Pledge Form (see below) to family, friends, and/or local supporters to fill out and sign up for donating to your birdies. You are in charge of finding your own pledges (we can help provide templates to send to contacts).
• The PKBGT will do the rest for you! Score birdies at PKBGT events and we’ll track those and communicate with you and your supporters on your progress over the summer.

Pledge Form to Support PKBGT Players for Beyond the Birdie

PKBGT parents, friends, and supporters are encouraged to support the PKBGT and the future generations of girls’ golf through Beyond the Birdie. Pledge a donation for each birdie your PKBGT player scores on the course this spring and summer and be a part of the difference they make!

• Fill out the Pledge Form with your information and which player you will support this summer.
• Enter your pledge amount, submit the form, and you’re making a difference in girls’ golf just like that!
• You will be contacted throughout the summer with updates on your pledge.
• You will be invoiced for the amount you pledged times the amount of birdies your PKBGT player(s) scored at the end of the fundraiser.

Questions?
